Future Friday

Future FridayFriday, we made it , dear readers!

In 2012, we would like to introduce a new feature on Fridays. We shall tentatively or until we come up with something a bit more pithy, witty, and alternate-ty (need some consonance too), Future Friday! One of our goals for 2012 is to foster conversation, engage in friendly banter, and discuss our most beloved Jane Austen.

In order for us to do this, we thought it would be great if we gave you a heads up, get your thinking caps on list of topics that we will discuss for the upcoming week. Of course, we eschew formal adherence to lists and are quite open to new suggestions for topics as well. (Hint: a great place to suggest topics can be accessed through joining our site. It’s free, and we talk about Jane Austen a lot).

Next week, we are still discussing Mr. Darcy, Vampyre by Amanda Grange. We will be focusing on chapters 6-11 which allows us to move from the exciting locales of Paris, the Alps, and Venice.

Topics for next week:

  1. What do you think of the vampires in Paris, the Alps, and Venice? Which ones feel more like “vampires?”
  2. Who is this mob? Humans or vampires? What did Elizabeth do to piss them off?
  3. What do you think of all the sexual tension and lack of…you know what I mean?
